Reagent Chemical and Research, Inc. is a privately held Delaware Corporation, headquartered at Ringoes, New Jersey with production, barge terminals, bulk plants, warehouses, and sales offices strategically located throughout the United States. The company was established in 1959 by the Skeuse family and is still owned and operated by the family today.

Reagent is recognized as the largest supplier of hydrochloric acid in the United States. Hydrochloric acid, a by-product from major chemical companies is acquired by Reagent under long term contracts for conversion by our special processing techniques into several grades up to and including Food Grade quality.

Reagent's customers are supplied by our privately owned fleet of rubber lined tank cars and tank trucks. This specially equipped fleet is the largest privately owned rubber lined fleet of its kind in the United States.

Product quality is continuously monitored at each plant to assure the highest standard and to meet our customers varied specifications and requirements.

Reagent Chemical is dedicated to maintaining leadership in the hydrochloric acid market by continuously improving and increasing production, building new plants, bulk storage facilities and expanding our transportation fleet of tank cars and trucks.

In addition to hydrochloric acid, Reagent produces over 100 different grades of rubber-makers sulfur designed to meet customers specific applications. Reagent Chemical is a major marketer of refinery recovered molten sulfur, having long term commitments with major oil companies at three refineries.

Reagent Chemical also designs, manufactures, and produces squeeze tube filling machines as well as in-line cartridge filling machines at it's ProSys division plant in Missouri. Reagent also produces gunstock blanks and high grade wood products from it's Cali'co Hardwoods division plant located in Santa Rosa, California.
